Downtime Management (VOR) is an enhancement to the support provided within Compliance Management in that, our proactive role extends beyond ensuring Scheduled Event compliance and monitoring Defect Repairs, and encompasses activities designed to not only measure, but to reduce VOR.
The proactive management of VOR usually requires the vehicle to be fitted with telematic hardware, capable of allowing iFleet to monitor the location of the vehicle. By being able to integrate vehicle location with our iFleet Management Systems (iFMS), the iFleet team can ensure vehicles are where they should be (or not as the case may be) BUT only with regard to managing matters regarding service, maintenance & repair.
The team can then focus their efforts in managing and reducing VOR wherever possible, escalating concerns to the Customer promptly whilst using the data to provide consistent VOR reporting.
